Students in grades 6-8 have been diligently working on writing and polishing their speeches on the topic: A Time When Volunteers Made A Difference. Individual class contests will be held this Thursday judged by Mr. Kreg. Following each classroom contest, the top three winners will be announced.
You are invited to join us when the classroom winners square off on Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. for the school level contest. At that time the top three school level winners will be declared by judges Ms. Marnik, Noelle Ellis and Kate McMullin.
Our school winners will participate in the MDIRSS contest May 1st at 6:00 p.m. The Mount Desert Elementary School will host this competition and the public is welcome to attend.
