K-2 Mix It Up Day!

posted May 5, 2011, 8:06 AM by Iris Meehan
The 3rd-5th grade Problem Solvers Group is going to lead a Mix It Up At Lunch Day for the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders on Friday, May 6th.  The K, 1 and 2 students will have assigned seats at lunch for that one day, and will be in a group that includes students from all three grades.  The reason for this is to give students an opportunity to sit with kids they don't always spend time with and get to know them better.  Each table will have a discussion leader who is a member of the Problem Solvers Group.  There will be written questions at the table that the discussion leader will use to start conversations.  These will be questions that give students an opportunity to share about things they enjoy and like to do.

The Problem Solvers Group is a group that works to make the school a safe, fun and friendly place for all students.  These students meet a couple of times per month during lunch time to work on projects that help the school.
