The Tremont School Fund (TSF) was established in 1985 by parents and friends of the Tremont School to provide educational and cultural opportunities to students, in addition to what is funded through the annual school budget.  We are thankful and excited about receiving funding for the following programs:

Adventure Club
- Mrs. Newby - This grant will provide opportunities for students in grades 7 and 8 to get acquainted with local recreational resources through hiking two mountains in Acadia and taking an Ocean Kayak Tour from Bar Harbor.  Mrs. Newby anticipates scheduling this activities in the Spring.

Recharge After School Program - Mrs. Watson - Any student in our school may participate in this program next Spring.  It will meet two times a week for six weeks.  This is a second year program that the TSF has funded this program.  Ms. Shambarger will continue to supervise this program, assisted by PTO members and parent volunteers.

Kayak Program - Mrs. Newby - To accommodate our largest middle level Science class, this grant will purchase an additional double kayak.  All of our kayaks and equipment have been funded through this generous fund.

Kindle for Kids
- Ms. Robbins - Through the acquisition of Kindle technology, select middle school students will have an additional tool to engage with books at their ability level and match their personal interests.
